The Foyle Foundation is a grant making charity that has provided grants valuing over £70 million in the last 15 years. The Foundation currently offers grants through three distinct grant programmes. These are:
- Main Grant Scheme
- Small Grant Scheme
- The Foyle School Library Scheme
Main Grant Scheme
This programme focuses on the two outcomes of Arts and Learning, sharing the same guidance and application form. The programmes aims to (Arts) help sustain the arts and deliver artistic vision and (Learning) support projects with libraries, museums and archives, special educational needs or encouraging sustainability. This Main Grants Scheme is open only to registered charities with grants generally between £10,000 and £50,000.
Small Grants Scheme
The Small Grant Scheme is designed to support smaller charities in the UK, working at grass roots and local community level, in any field across a wide range of activities. Applications are welcomed from charities or community groups that have an annual turnover of less than £150,000. Grants are made for a one year period between £1,000 and £10,000.
