St James’ Place Foundation is the charitable arm of St James’ Place Wealth Management Group, which funds hundreds of projects each year and has so far raised over £40million.
The charity current only offers a small grant programme, which is aimed at supporting the following groups:
- Disadvantaged Young People
- Supporting People with Cancer
- Supporting Young People with Special Needs
The charity provides grants for either small capital items or revenue costs, with a requirement that 75% of beneficiaries must fit into the above groups. Grants are available up to £10,000.
To be able to apply, you must be a registered UK charity with an annual income of up to £750,000 and have reserves of less than 50% of annual turnover. There are no deadlines and the whole process can take from 4 to 6 months so it’s advisable to apply well in advance of when the funds are needed.
